Racing: horses come up to a hedge on a green course, with the course map, a horse clearing a fence, the race clock at 00:28 and Pirate Son leading.

Inside the game

You're a jump jockey, not an owner. Before each race the trainers offer you three rides. Win and the offers get better; fall and your reputation drops. Do well enough and you qualify for the National.

The season runs from the Hennessy Gold Cup in November to the Whitbread in April, with the 1985 races and their real field sizes. There's a practice mode too.
